Licentiate in Acupuncture
Diploma in Tui Na
Marta’s journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine started ten years ago through her practice and teaching of traditional Yang family style of Tai Chi and Chinese Health Qigong. She went on to study acupuncture and graduated from the City College of Acupuncture, becoming a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
Using Chinese Medicine’s principles of a holistic approach to healing, Marta designs her treatments to meet the individual needs of her clients by combining therapies such as acupuncture and tui na, and ancillary techniques such as moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, cupping and guasha, as well as by providing lifestyle advice.
Though treating a variety of conditions, Marta takes special interest in women’s health, in particular menstrual disorders, endometriosis, menopause, conditions in pregnancy and postnatal care, as well as mental-emotional health issues such as anxiety and depression.
Marta is also passionate about teaching and spreading the knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine, hence she is involved in teaching at the City College of Acupuncture helping future practitioners developing their practical skills and expanding their knowledge about acupuncture and tui na.
